Corrosive material: This class includes caustic and acid materials that can destroy the skin or eat through metals. Examples: sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid. Odiously the material should be put in a tightly sealed container that the material can not eat through. Gloves and glasses that are safety approved for the material would be some PPE to use. Also have a eye and skin washer handy so if the corrosive material get on your skin. (http://pediatrics.about.com/od/safety/a/gun-accidents.htm)
Dangerously reactive material: These products may self-react dangerously (for example, they may explode) upon standing or when exposed to physical shock or to increased pressure or temperature, or they emit toxic gases when exposed to water. Carrying the material is very dangerous, especially on a plane, due to the quick increase and decrease in pressure. So have the material in a cooled container that can't increase in pressure. PPE to use would be gloves, mask and flame prof suit. (http://www.aiche.org/ccps/topics/process-safety-technical-areas/chemical-reactivity-hazards/reactive-material-hazards)
